About - Les Petites is an International Nursery
and crèche in 'Down Town'
El Gouna, Red Sea, Egypt.
The nursery is located in front of the Golf Course, at the entrance
of Downtown (next to Arena Inn Hotel) in a beautiful and clean
environment.
It is owned and managed by Marika Portesi, an Italian lady,
who has a young daughter herself. Marika travelled the world
from the age of 20, studied Psychology in England, and speaks
English, Italian, French, Spanish.
Marika arrived in El Gouna in 1997 when it was just a small
village. She established the nursery in 2003 to provide childcare
services for residents, and parents wanting free time for scuba
diving, golf, or just to relax alone.
The nursery caters for children from as young as 3 months up
to five years old. Children are welcome at Les Petites International
Nursery for just occasional days or can be looked after for
a full week. Les Petites International Nursery also provides
a baby sitting service in the evening.

Support the nursery and others - The Nursery
always needs items such as books, toys, educational video tapes
etc that are often difficult to get hold of here in Egypt.
Parents help us very much by giving us toys or books that their
children don't need or no longer read.
Les Petites International Nursery also helps two Orphanages
in Hurghada and Luxor where the children really need much more.
So if you are a tourist or resident and you would like to help
our Nursery or the Orphanages, even if it is just one book,
a toy, t-shirt or trousers, anything you can spare will be a
fantastic help and will make a difference.
